First Half
The Sycamores jumped to a 10-4 lead but two threes from Wampler pulled it even by the 12-minute timeout. Second Half
With strong defense to start the half, the Raiders tied the game at 34 on three free throws by Wampler, who came back and hit a three for the 37-34 lead at 15:39.  ISU took the lead again at 44-41 at 11:38.  The Sycamores went on a 13-6 run to go up by ten at 57-47 with 7:51 remaining.  WSU went on a 7-3 advantage to cut the lead to 60-54 at the final media timeout of the game.  WSU was able to cut the lead to 63-61 on a long Wampler three to force an ISU timeout.  Wampler had 14 points in the final 20 minutes as Love pitched in six points and seven rebounds.

Nagy Says
"Our defense is not good enough and our offense is not either.  If Loudon doesn't shoot a high percentage around the basket, it is hard for us to win.  No one feels as bad about it as he does.  We just have to go back and work on it.  We were 4-4 last year at this time, but things have to change for us."
