@WSU_MTennis Hosts Final Regular Season Weekend

The Wright State men's tennis team will have its last two regular-season matches on Sunday before entering the Horizon League Tournament.

Both matches will be played at the South Regency Tennis and Fitness Center. The Raiders will honor the three seniors in the program. The first match is a conference match against Detroit Mercy at 1:00 pm, and another match will follow against Rose-Hulman at 4:00 pm.

As it is senior day, the program will be honoring seniors Michal Kianicka, Fernando Nardelli, and Marcel Ueltzhoeffer for their outstanding dedication, as well as their success throughout their careers. The team will look to help complete these seniors' careers in great fashion by finding two wins this weekend. WSU is 12-10 on the season, and 2-4 in conference play. The Raiders are coming off a 5-2 loss at Youngstown State, but will be eager to return for their final home matches of the season.

Detroit Mercy

The Titans have a 12-9 record, but have been stout throughout conference play going 4-1. They head to Dayton having beaten Cleveland State 4-3, and Youngstown State 6-1 last weekend. Wright State fell to UDM last year 5-2.

Rose-Hulman

Rose-Hulman also holds a 12-9 on the year, but they have remained undefeated in the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference at a 5-0 clip. They are coming off two defeats at the hands of Case Western Reserve. The Raider defeated the Fightin' Engineers 5-2 last year.

Next Up

Wright State will conclude their regular season this weekend, and play at the Horizon League Tournament beginning on Friday, April 27 in West Lafayette, Indiana.
