The Wright State track team competed at the Jesse Owens Classic in Columbus, OH on Saturday.Â
Hailey Brumfield led the way for the Raiders, finishing seventh in the 3000 meter steeplechase with a time of 10:52.33. Aurora Turner, who finished right behind Brumfield in the 3000 meter steeplechase, finished in tenth, running a 11:12.67. Maria Heckman added a seventh place of her own in the pole vault, clearing 3.67m.
The Raiders will return to the track Thursday, April 26, as they travel to Hillsdale, MI to compete in the Gina Relays.
