The Wright State track team is third after the second day of the 2018 Outdoor Horizon League Championships in Rochester, MI.
Junior Hailey Brumfield won the 3000 meter steeplechase with a time of 10:57.39. Aurora Turner finished right behind Brumfield in second place, running an 11:09.29. Maria Heckman cleared 3.67m in the women's pole vault, good enough for second. Bekah Robertson came in third in the 800 meter run heptathlon with a time of 2:38.10. Robertson sits in eighth in the overall standings for the women's heptathlon.Â
The championship conclude tomorrow.
