Top Drawer Soccer released its national Top 25 rankings on Monday, and for the second week in a row, the Raiders (6-0-1, 2-0-0 Horizon League) made the list, this week jumping all the way to number 15. Â The ranking is the highest the Raiders have been in a national poll, not just in men's soccer, but in any of the 14 sanctioned sports in Division I.Â
"We're definitely excited to see ourselves jump in the rankings," said head coach Jake Slemker. "We know the job isn't done, and we have another busy week."
The NCAA also released its first RPI rankings of the season on Monday, and the Raiders earned the number 35 spot on that list.
Wright State first cracked Top Drawer Soccer's national Top 25 rankings last Monday, September 17, when they took the number 25 spot.
The Raiders return to action on Tuesday when Duquesne comes to Alumni Field to round out Wright State's three-match homestand. Horizon League play continues for the green and gold Saturday with a trip to Detroit Mercy.
