Men’s Soccer Announces 2026 Schedule

DAYTON- The Wright State men's soccer program, led by head coach Alex Van der Sluijs, released its 2026 schedule Monday afternoon. The 19-game slate features nine home contests at Alumni Field.
The Raiders will prepare for the season with a pair of exhibition matches, first on the road at Ohio State on Aug. 7 and then at home against Bellarmine on Aug. 15. Wright State will open the 2026 campaign on the road at Bowling Green on Aug. 20 before returning home to open the home portion of its schedule against Belmont on Aug. 23. The Raiders will wrap up November with a road test at Eastern Illinois on Aug. 27 before returning home to take on Lindenwood on Aug. 30.
Wright State will hit the road for four road contests in September, opening the month at Louisville on Sept. 3 before traveling up to Milwaukee to open Horizon League play on Sept. 9. Following the trip to America's Dairyland, the Raiders will return to Alumni Field and open the home portion of its conference slate against Green Bay on Sept. 12. WSU will then once again hit the road for a pair of road contests at Purdue Fort Wayne on Sept.19 and Xavier on Sept. 22. Wright State will close out September at Alumni Field on Sept. 26 as they welcome new Horizon League member Northern Illinois to Dayton.
The Raiders will open the month of October with their final two-game road trip of the season, taking on Northern Kentucky on Oct. 7 before traveling up to the Motor City to take on Detroit Mercy on Oct. 10. Wright State will return home to host back-to-back games for the first time in 2026, hosting Cleveland State on Oct. 17 and Ohio Northern on Oct. 20. WSU will wrap up the road portion of its schedule on Oct. 24 against Rober Morris. The Raiders will close its 2026 campaign with a pair of home matches at Alumni Field against IU Indy on October 30 and Oakland on Nov. 3.
Wright State finished 2025 with a 2-13-1 overall record and a 2-7 mark in Horizon League play. Three Raiders earned Horizon League All-League honors in 2025, with Henry Hutchinson and Roman Kedgley being named to the All-League Third Team, while Alessandro Malterer was named a finalist for the Sportsmanship award.
