In their first of two matches on Saturday, the Wright State women's tennis team fell to the Marshall Thundering Herd by a score of 2-5. The close loss moves the Raiders to 1-1 on the season with a match later in the evening against West Virginia State.

Wright State continued their success on the doubles court where the Raiders took two wins in with each pairing putting in a complete performance. Haily Morgan and Madison Riley won their match 6-2 against Madi Ballow and Liz Stefancic while duo Andreea Craciun and Jillian Milano also won by a score of 6-2 against Matilde Mulatero and Daniela Dankanych.

Madison Riley came away with the Raiders' sole singles win against the Herd. Riley beat Liz Stefancic by scores of 6-3 and 6-4. Andreea Craciun pushed her opponent, Madi Ballow, the distance in three sets. After winning the first by a score of 7-6, Craciun fell in the second 4-6, and pushed Ballow to extra sets in the third with a final score of 6-7
