Wright State hosts Marshall Tuesday night

The Wright State men's soccer team returns to Alumni Field on Tuesday night to host 21st-ranked Marshall in a non-conference matchup set for a 7 p.m. kickoff. The Raiders are coming off a 3-1 home victory against Detroit Mercy on Saturday night while the Thundering Herd are coming off a 5-1 road victory at San Diego State.
Sophomore Forward Ids Hannema started the scoring efforts for Wright State in the 10' of action off an assist from Harvey Slade. Midfielder Brayden McNitt put the hosts up 2-1 in the 39' minute as he connected on a pass from Deri Corfe. Detroit Mercy's Mohamad Miri answered for the visitors in the 45' minute before Midfielder Deri Corfe sealed the victory for the Raiders with his 90' minute goal.
Tuesday's contest marks the 13th all-time meeting between the two schools with Wright State holding an 8-5-0 record, including a 3-1 road victory at Marshall last season.
