Wright State set to face Oakland in HL Semifinals

The Wright State men's soccer team is set to face Oakland in the Horizon League Championship Semifinals on Thursday, kickoff is set for 8 p.m. ET. The Raiders are coming off 1-0 victory over Green Bay on Monday, November 11, while the Golden Bears had a first round bye. Â
Just 11 minutes into Monday's quarterfinal contest, Ids Hannema sent a cross from Stefan Rokvic into the top left corner of the net to record his 10th goal of the season and to give the Raiders a 1-0 lead. The Phoenix looked to answer in the 20' but were called offside in their best opportunity.
The Raiders and Golden Bears met in regular-season action, with Oakland coming away with a 3-2 victory in overtime.
Wright State jumped out to an early lead after Jackson Dietrich connected on a penalty kick opportunity in the 13th minute for his fourth goal of the season, but Oakland answered right back with a goal of its own in the 14th minute by Charlie Braithwaite. The visitors took the lead at the 19 minute-mark on Evan Sawula's score before the Raiders knotted the game at 2-all on Ids Hannema's header that found the back of the net in the 29th minute
