Raiders set for final regular season road trip

The Wright State volleyball team closes out the regular season with a pair of road trips, traveling to take on Youngstown State on Thursday night at 7 p.m. before a visit to Okaland at 4 p.m. on Saturday afternoon.
The Raiders finished the regular season with a perfect 11-0 mark at home inside McLin Gym and enter the week with a Horizon League-leading 11-3 conference mark. The Raiders have cracked the top 50 for RPI rankings in NCAA in the 46th spot, currently the top ranked HL team. The team is ranked first in blocks and digs and second in hitting percentage and kills for HL statistics. Nyssa Baker continues to rule the blocks category as she averages 1.38 blocks/set. Jenna Story continues to lead the digs category as she averages 6.49 digs/set and continues to hold the second spot for digs/set in NCAA rankings.

Youngstown State
- Youngstown State is currently 8-19 overall and 2-12 in conference, having defeated IUPUI and Cleveland State in the HL.
- Ranked eighth in the HL standings, behind IUPUI at seventh and Cleveland State at sixth.
- On Nov. 3, junior Margaux Thompson became the 17th player in Youngstown State program history to reach 1,000 career digs.
- The Penguins are ranked third overall in service aces for the Horizon League. Erin Kalahar is ranked third in aces as she has served a total of 28 aces this season.
- The Raiders defeated the Penguins in three straight sets last match up during the first week of HL play.
Oakland
- The Golden Grizzlies are currently 14-12 overall and 7-7 in conference. They are currently tied for sixth place with Northern Kentucky.
- They have defeated the third ranked Milwaukee team twice, and also defeated UIC in the first matchup of the season.
- Taylor Dellinger and Jamie Walling currently lead the team in kills at 322 and 326. Dellinger is averaging 3.50 kills/set and Walling is averaging 3.33.
- Lindsay Wightman is leading the team in the back row with 417 digs for the season, averaging 5.21 digs/set.
- AnnaBelle Tomei is leading the offense averaging 5.13 assists per set, totalling 503 assists overall.
- The first time the Raiders met the Golden Grizzlies was opening day for HL conference on Sept. 27. with Wright State winning 3-0.
