After falling behind 2-0, the Raider bats went to work and scored three runs in the opening inning, grabbing an early lead. Meredith Keel and Madison Whitaker drew walks to jump start the offense. The Warhawks recorded two outs and nearly escaped the inning without damage, but a Madison Nunez RBI double extended the frame. Another double by Madison Mills scored the Raiders' third run of the inning.

2nd Inning
Louisiana Monroe used a double of their own to generate an early tying run. Wright State answered with a Lauren Deitrick double, scoring Meredith Keel.Â
Â
3rd Inning
Makenna Durieux shut down the Warhawk offense in the 3rdand the Raiders added two more runs in the inning. Madison Mills recorded another double and aggressive running on the basepaths caused a ULM error leading to a score. The Raiders continued to rely on clutch hitting, with each of the first six runs coming with two outs.
Â
7th Inning
Even though the Raider offense had been quieted, all seemed to be going well for Wright State. Durieux had allowed just one run in the last four frames and the Raiders held a two-run lead heading into the final inning. ULM quickly changed the momentum by loading the bases. A Watts double cleared the bases and scored three, giving the Warhawks the go-ahead run. Lexie Hilling came into the game in relief and prevented any further damage. Down to their final three outs, the Raiders had to score a run to tie, but they did more than just tie. Brianna Hutchinson drew a walk to begin the inning, and Madison Nunez and Madison Mills both took advantage of fielding errors. Just like that, the bases were loaded for the Raiders, and freshman Macy McCall delivered in the clutch for Wright State. McCall singled up the left side, scoring pinch runner Raidyn Johnson and Nunez for a walk-off victory!
