@WSU_WBasketball Continues Road Trip Against Green Bay

The Wright State women's basketball team continues their road swing on Saturday when they hit the hardwood against the Green Bay Phoenix. The game is scheduled to tipoff at 2:00pm EST at the Kress Center in Green Bay, Wisconsin.

The Raiders (19-5, 11-1) are going into Green Bay fresh off of a 73-69 win against the Milwaukee Panthers. With the win on Thursday night the Raiders extended their win streak to six games, with the last loss coming against Youngstown State on January 18th. In the game against Milwaukee, three players scored in double-digits with Emily Vogelpohl's 16 point effort leading the way. Vogelpohl also forced four steals against the Panthers. Mackenzie Taylor added 12 points with nine coming from deep and three coming from the foul line. Symone Simmons lead the team in collections with 13 rebounds while also adding four assists, and added four points.

Michal Miller is leading the team in scoring this season with 12.8 points per game. Mackenzie Taylor is second on the team with an average of 12.3 points per game. Miller and Taylor are currently ninth and tenth, respectively, in Horizon League scoring average. Symone Simmons is the Raiders' leading rebounder with an average of 9.2 each game. Simmons is currently in the number one position in rebound in the conference. 

Green Bay
The Phoenix (14-7, 9-2) are entering the game on Saturday afternoon coming off of a 70-42 trouncing of Northern Kentucky. Frankie Wurtz led all players with 13 points in her return to the floor. Joining Wurtz with double-digit efforts were Laken James, Lyndsey Robson and Madison Wolf, who all scored 10 points apiece. 

On offense, the Phoenix are led by Laken James who is averaging 10.1 point per game. Just behind Laken, Jen Wellnitz is putting in an average of 9.1 each outing. On the other end, Madison Wolf is leading the team in rebounds with a 7.0 average, good for seventh in the conference.
