On Sunday afternoon, the Wright State women's tennis team swept the Wittenberg Tigers at home for Senior Day. Senior Haily Morgan was honored this afternoon before matches began against the Tigers.
Morgan currently sits at 12 singles wins this spring and is paired with Madison Riley to form the Raiders' top doubles team. In doubles competition, Morgan and Riley are 15-8 this season which is good for the most wins by a double pair in the Horizon League. Morgan is currently sitting at 65 Career Doubles Wins which places her at the number six position in Wright State women's tennis history. With her two singles wins this weekend, Morgan also moved into the tenth position in Career Singles Wins with 63. At 128 Career Total Wins, Haily Morgan sits at 8th in the program record book.
The Raiders began the day by taking the doubles point from the Tigers. Haily Morgan and Madison Riley blanked Alivia Livesay and Harunya Ravindran, Anna Jones and Anna Marie Reynolds swept on Court Three, while Grace Whitney and Jillian Milano won 6-1 on Court Two.
The Raiders continued their sweep on the singles courts where each player won in straight sets against their opponents. Haily Morgan only dropped one point at the top of the order. Madison Riley, Jillian Milano, and Anna Jones each won by scores of 6-0 and 6-0. Grace Whitney won 6-0 and 6-1 on Court Four and Anna Marie Reynolds won 6-1 and 6-1 at the number five position.
