In their first match of the weekend, the Wright State men's tennis team fell to the Marquette Eagles in Milwaukee by a score of 0-7 on Friday afternoon. The Golden Eagles improved their record to 12-6 and 4-0 against Horizon League opponents while the Raiders fell to 7-15.

The Eagles earned the doubles points after taking the matches on Courts Two and Three. Javier Alvarez de la Ville and Theo Bourghelle fell to Greg Anderson and Luis Heredia Gomez by a 6-1 score while Donovan Cellupica-Towers and Fernando Nardelli fell 6-0.

The Raiders were unable to win a set in the singles competition against the Golden Eagles with Leighton Brandon putting in the best effort with a 7-5, 6-2 loss on court three against Luis Heredia Gomez.

The Raiders will be looking to get back on track against the 4-11, 0-2 Green Bay Phoenix on Saturday.
