The Wright State women's tennis team fell in their second match of the weekend 1-6 against the Green Bay Phoenix. The loss moves the Raiders to 7-16 on the season and 0-4 in the Horizon League.

After Fernando Nardellie and Donovan Cellupica-Towers fell 6-3 on Court Three, Param Pun and Lorenzo Maccarini evened the doubles scores with a 6-4 win against Green Bay's top due James Ling and Miles McDowall. The Raiders were unable to take the doubles point from the Phoenix after falling 7-5 on Court Two.

In the singles competition, Lorenzo Maccarini was the only Raider to tally a victory with a three set win on Court Two. Param Pun fell in a close 6-4, 6-4 match at the top of the order. Both Javier Alvarez de la Villa and Leighton Brandon forced their opponents to extra points in the first set but were unable to come away with points for Wright State.

Up Next
The Raiders will host three matches next weekend with Youngstown State on Saturday with Cleveland State and Wittenberg on Sunday. The matches will mark the end of the regular season for the Raiders.
