Wright State drops season opener at Ohio State on Sunday

In singles action, the Raiders dropped all six matchups while competing against four players ranked in the top 40, at singles No. 1, 2, 3 and 5 respectively. Param Pun and Theo Bourghelle played at No. 1 doubles, while Javier Alvarez de la Villa and Leighton Brandon fell on court two doubles. Carlos Estrada Sanchez and William Morton's matchup at No. 3 doubles went unfinished after Ohio State claimed the doubles point with wins on courts one and two.
Wright State returns to action next weekend with a pair of matchups, both at home. The Raiders host Toledo on Friday morning before a Sunday afternoon matchup with Xavier.
