Raiders record first victory of 2020 over Austin Peay

The Wright State men's tennis team recorded its first win of the 2020 season over Austin Peay 4-3 at the South Regency Tennis and Fitness Center on Saturday night.
Senior Param Pun earned a three-set win in No. 1 singles action, defeating Christian Edison 6-1, 5-7, 7-5 while Senior Javier Alvarez defeated Anton Damberg 6-4, 6-4 and sophomore Leighton Brandon defeated Julius Gold 6-2,6-2.
In doubles action, the team of Param Pun and Theo Bourghelle won 6-4 over Jacob Lorino and Christian Edison as well as the team of William Morton and Carlos Sanchez defeated Thiago Nogueira and Oliver Andersson 6-2.
The Raiders now prepare to welcome Butler to the South Regency Tennis and Fitness Center on Sunday, February 16 at 4 p.m.
