Cross Country set to run in Louisville Saturday morning

DAYTON – The Wright State cross country programs return to action on Saturday morning with the Live in the Lou Cross Country Classic hosted by Louisville at E.P. Tom Sawyer Park in the Raiders' first races of October.

The men's 8000m race will kick off the meet at 10:45 a.m., while the women's 5000m race is scheduled to follow at 11:30 a.m.

Wright State is one of 35 teams competing on the men's side, led by No.14 Wisconsin, while the Raider women will race against 42 other programs, including Mississippi State from the SEC in addition to Michigan and No.26 Wisconsin from the Big Ten.

Wright State last competed on September 17, with a small contingent competing at the All-Ohio Championship. These will be the first full team races for the Raiders since September 10 in Indianapolis.
