Men's Soccer welcomes RMU for Saturday night tilt

DAYTON – The Wright State men's soccer team hosts its first Saturday night contest of the season as the Raiders host Robert Morris in a 7 p.m. kick from Alumni Field, where the match is a Green Out, with green shirts passed out to fans entering Alumni Field.

The Raiders (3-4-1, 2-1-1 HL) are coming off of a double overtime draw on Wednesday afternoon against Milwaukee, while Robert Morris (1-8, 1-3 HL) fell at home Wednesday against Oakland. Robert Morris has lost its last five matches, however, the Colonials lone win came on the road at Northern Kentucky in Horizon League action earlier this month.
Zion Beaton tallied his third goal of the season in Wednesday's draw, and that mark leads Wright State, while Joe Kouadio has a pair of goals. The Raiders have six players with double-digit shots this season, paced by 15 attempts from Kouadio, followed by 14 shots each from Beaton, Presten Manthey and Conner Osterholt, while Manthey has added a team-leading three assists.
Robert Morris has just five goals on the season, one each from five different players. Bryan Akongo leads the attack with nine total shots, followed by seven shots from Gal Ben Dayan and six attempts from Hugo Kadima. The Colonials have started three different goalkeepers, with the trio combining to have 32 saves against 15 goals allowed through eight contests.
Robert Morris finished the spring with a 1-6-1 overall record, with all matches coming in Horizon League play in its first season as League members. The Raiders handed the Colonials a 1-0 loss during their first meeting as Horizon League foes back on March 30 in Pennsylvania.
