Cross Country set for Falcon Invite on Saturday morning

DAYTON –The Wright State cross country programs return to action on Saturday afternoon when the Raiders make the trip north to run in the Falcon Invite hosted by Bowling Green.

The men's 8000m race will kick off the meet at 11 a.m., while the women's 5000m race is scheduled to follow at noon.

Wright State is coming off competitive races at the Live in the Lou Cross Country Classic, as the Raider men finished 13th and the Wright State women turned in a 16th place finish. Abigail Halsey turned in a fourth-place finish on the women's side while Alex McCarty paced the Raiders with his seventh-place finish in the men's race as Wright State squared off against 61 other teams in the men's race and 54 other teams in the women's race.
