Men's Soccer set to host Oakland on Saturday afternoon

DAYTON – The Wright State men's soccer team returns home to Alumni Field for a Saturday afternoon matchup with Oakland, with match time set for 2 p.m. Saturday's match is the annual Pink Game with pink tshirts available for fans prior to kickoff.

The Raiders (4-6-1, 3-3-1 HL) are coming off of a tough, 3-2 defeat at UIC on Wednesday night that saw them tally two second half goals while down a man before ultimately falling short. Oakland (5-5-2, 4-1-1 HL) is coming off a 3-1 victory on Wednesday at home against Green Bay and has won its last two matches. The Golden Grizzlies enter the match just 1-3-2 on the road this season.
Zion Beaton leads Wright State with four goals this season, while Joe Kouadio and Conner Osterholt each have three goals. The Raiders have seven players with double-digit shots this season, paced by 26 attempts from Beaton and 22 from Presten Manthey, followed by Osterholt with 20 shots. Reece Allbaugh has a team-leading four assists, while Manthey has added three and Ids Hannema has two assists.
