Raiders get set for HL Indoor Championship

The Wright State women's track and field team is set to complete at the Horizon League Indoor Championship at Lutheran Health Fieldhouse in Fort Wayne, IN., Friday through Monday, March 1.

The event is currently set up to air via the following schedule on ESPN3:
Friday, Feb. 26 – 1 session
·         3-5:30 p.m. (WATCH)
Saturday, Feb. 27 – 2 sessions
·         3-5 p.m. (WATCH)
·         7-8 p.m. (WATCH)
Sunday, Feb. 28 – 3 sessions
·         11-1 p.m. (WATCH)
·         2:30-4 p.m. (WATCH)
·         6:30-8 p.m. (WATCH)
Monday, March 1 – 1 session
·         12-2:30 p.m. (WATCH)

The Raiders last competed at the Mastodon Invitational where 20 personal bests were recorded, headlined by Shelby Nolan's time of 5:02.35 in the 1 mile run to finish first in the event. The Whitehouse, OH native set a Wright State record with her time. Nolan moved to fourth all-time on the Raider Top 10 list with her time of 2:18 in the 800 meter run as Abigail Halsey moved to eighth all-time on the Raider Top 10 with her time of 10:23 in the 3000 meter run, good for a third place finish.

In past championships, Wright State placed fifth in 2017 and fourth in both 2018 and 2019.
