
Wright State completes Day Two of HL Championships

The Wright State women's track and field team competed in the second day of the Horizon League Championship at Purdue Fort Wayne Saturday. After two days of competition, Wright State is currently in seventh place with 10 points.
Saturday saw preliminary races in the women's 60, 400, and 800 meters. Finals will take place Sunday afternoon. Emma Carr tallied a season-best time in the 400-meter prelim, recording a time of 1:10.15 (20th). Jayla Tarver finished 17th in the 60-meter dash prelim, tallying her third-best time as a Raider (8.19). In the 800 meter prelims, Alycea Ruhlen and Kaitlyn Miller placed 23rd (2:29.32) and 27th (2:30.89) for the Raiders.
Tatiana Brown turned in a season-best long jump, jumping 4.38 meters to place 28th in the event.
