
Nolan sets program record on Day Three of HL Championship

After three days of the 2021 Horizon League Track and Field Championships, the Wright State women's track and field team currently sits in eighth place with 20 points.
Shelby Nolan paced the Raiders with her first place finish in the women's one-mile, with a new school-record and personal best time of 4:58.49 to earn the Raiders second first place title of the weekend. Along with Nolan, Alicia Neumeier placed 12th with a personal best time of 5:21.41. Lauren Shuman came in 13th with her season best time of 5.23.62, Kaitlyn Miller placed 22nd (5:39.10), setting a personal best, while Emma Johnson (26th, 5:52.16) and Kaylin Willams (27th, 6:59.06) rounded out the event. Â Â
In the 200 meters prelims, Jayla Tarver placed 29th with her time of 28.01 and Emma Carr came in 31st (30.83). Only the Top 8 in the event will complete in tomorrow's final.
