
Nolan takes first, Raiders finish eighth on Final Day of HL Indoor Championships

The Wright State women's track and field team closed the indoor track and field season in Fort Wayne, Indiana at the 2021 Horizon League Championships on Monday.
Wright State finished eighth overall in the conference.
Shelby Nolan highlighted the Raider performances on Monday, setting a personal best and school-record in the 3000-meters with a time of 9:39.45. Nolan's time is now the second fastest time in HL Indoor Track Championships history behind Butler's Katie Clark time of 9.27.34 set in 2012.
Also, in the women's 3000-meter final, Emma Shigley turned in another Top-10 Raider finish with her personal best time of 10:34.23 to finish ninth in the event. Emma Johnson finished 19th for the Raiders with her time of 11:39.01.
On Friday, the 4000-meter distance medley relay team of Emma Shigley, Alyca Ruhlen, Lauren Shuman, and Shelby Nolan record a school-record time of 12:18.04, giving the Raiders their first DMR championship in program history.
Sunday saw senior Shelby Nolan earn the Raiders' second Championship title of the weekend with her program-record and personal best time of 4:58.49 in the women's one-mile.
