Track & Field set for Yellow Jacket Open

The Wright State track and field team is set to make the short trip to Cedarville University and take part in the Yellow Jacket Collegiate Open on Saturday.
ATTENDANCE POLICY
Cedarville University will allow for up to 600 fans on Saturday. Tickets can be purchased here at the following rates.
All tickets must be purchased and/or reserved online and will be available throughout the meet for as long as they last. No tickets will be sold at the gate.
According to the Ohio Department of Health as well as Greene County, facial coverings are required to be worn by all fans along with observing proper social distancing.
LAST TIME OUT
Wright State kicked off the 2021 outdoor season at the Blizzard Buster hosted by Miami University (OH) last Saturday. The Raiders turned in 16 personal bests, six top 10 finishes, five Raider Top-10 performances, and set two new Wright State records.
Callista Hess paced Wright State with her third-place finish in the trip jump with her jump of 10.05 meters, Shelby Nolan turned in a fifth-place finish for the Raiders with her time of 4:36.54 in the 1500 meters to set a new Wright State record. The team of Lauren Shuman, Alycea Ruhlen, Kaitlyn Miller and Nolan turned in a fifth place finish in the 4x800 meter relay with their time of 9:54.84 to set a new Raider record.
Cameron Campbell paced Wright State with her 13th place (12.63) finish in the 100 meters, while Jayla Tarver finished 23rd (13.11), Emma Carr finished 31st (14.07), and Morgan Miller also competed for the Raiders (32nd, 14.11).
The Raiders tallied a top ten finish in the 3000 meters as Abigail Halsey finished ninth with her time of 10:19.27 and Emma Shigley finished in 12th with her time of 10:37.57. Emma Johnson and Tiffany Ward both also competed for Wright State finishing 22nd (11:32.96) and 23rd (11:48.69).
