
Wright State finishes regular season strong at RedHawk Invite

The Wright State track and field team wrapped up the final weekend of regular-season action at the RedHawk Invite on Saturday in Oxford.
The 4x400 relay team of Alicia Neumeier, Alycea Ruhlen, Emma Carr, and Lauren Shuman earned the Raiders a fourth-place finish with their time of 4:13.33. While in the 1500 meters, Alicia Neumeier turned in a personal best with her time of 4:42.06 to finish sixth in the event.
Cameron Campbell paced the Raiders in the 100 meters with her time of 12.90 to place 10th. Jayla Tarver placed 15th (13.30), while Morgan Miller (21st, 13.92) and Emma Carr (22nd, 14.41) also competed in the event. In the 200 meters, Campbell placed 10th with her time of 27.10. Jayla Tarver placed 17th (28.64) and Morgan Miller placed 18th with her time of 29.36.
Along with Alicia Neumeier's sixth-place finish in the 1500 meters, Lauren Shuman placed 18th (4:52.52) while Kaitlyn Miller also competed in the event (24th, 4:58.02).
In the 100 meter hurdles, Kayle Willis placed 14th with her time of 17.35. Callista Hess turned in a 16th place finish with her time of 18.00, while Melissa Siler placed 17th (18.85) and Emily Maclean's time of 21.56 earned her an 18th place finish.
Wright State tallied 10 top-20 finishes in field events, paced by Callista Hess' personal best triple jump with her seventh place jump of 33'10.75". In the high jump, Hess tallied her second personal best of the day, placing 15th (1.50m). Amelia Harlow placed 16th (1.50m).
Melissa Siler's jump of 15'2" earned her a 12th place finish in the long jump, while Tatiana Brown (13th, 14'8") and Emily Maclean (12'11.5") also competed.
Wright State now gets set for the Horizon League Outdoor Track and Field Championships, set to take place May 7 – 9 in Youngstown.
