Men's Soccer heads north to take on Bowling Green Tuesday night

DAYTON – The Wright State men's soccer team makes the trip north for the I-75 Cup on Tuesday night as the Raiders take on Bowling Green at 7 p.m.

The Raiders (1-3) are coming off of a 1-1 week, downing Bradley 2-1 at home last Thursday behind goals from Joe Kouadio and Alex Hummel before falling 1-0 at IUPUI in the first Horizon League contest of the season.

Kouadio leads Wright State in goals (2) and points (4), while his seven shots are tied for the team lead with Harvey Slade.

Bowling Green (3-1-1) is coming off of a 1-0 loss at home to defending NCAA champion Marshall on Saturday night, while its schedule has seen a pair of Horizon League foes (IUPUI and Cleveland State), with the Falcons settling for a win and a tie.

Bowling Green finished the spring with an overall record of 7-5-1 and 5-2-1 in the MAC. The Falcons clinched the 2020 MAC Championship, earning the automatic bid to the 2020 Division I Men's Soccer Championship before losing 1-2 to Monmouth in the opening round. Wright State and Bowling Green last met in 2019 at Alumni Field, with the visitors walking away 1-0 victors.
