Raiders return home for a Wednesday matinee against Milwaukee

DAYTON – The Wright State men's soccer team returns home to Alumni Field for its next two matches, beginning with a Wednesday afternoon meeting with Milwaukee. First kick is scheduled for 3 p.m., and the match is expected to be streamed on ESPN+.

The Raiders (3-4, 2-1 HL) are coming off of a final second, double overtime road victory Saturday night against Northern Kentucky thanks to Harvey Slade, while Milwaukee (3-4, 2-1 HL) fell at home Saturday afternoon against Cleveland State. Milwaukee is 1-2 away from home so far this season, however, the Panthers have already grabbed a 2-1 road win at Robert Morris early in the Horizon League slate.
Zion Beaton and Joe Kouadio each have two goals and four points to lead Wright State, while the Raiders have five players with double-digit shots this season, paced by 12 attempts each from Kouadio and Slade. Beaton and Conner Osterholt each have 11 shots to date, while Presten Manthey has 10 shot attempts and a team-leading three assists.
Milwaukee has been led by two goals each from Paolo Gratton and Raul Medina, while Medina's six points leads the way. Logan Farrington paces the Panther offense with 18 shots, with Gratton right behind with 12 attempts. Milwaukee, the 2020 Horizon League Tournament champion, finished with an overall record of 8-5-0 and 6-4-0 in Horizon League play before falling in the opening round of the NCAA tournament.
