Women's Soccer set for Sunday visit to UT Martin

DAYTON – The Wright State women's soccer team wraps up its season-long three-game road trip on Sunday afternoon as the Raiders travel to take on UT Martin in a 2 p.m. ET start.

The Raiders (2-1-1) are coming off of a 3-0 victory at Akron on Thursday night, tallying three goals in the first half behind scores from Destiny Johnson, Olga Massombo and Sydni Callahan.
Johnson and Massombo each have two goals to lead Wright State in that category, while Massombo's five points leads all players. Johnson's 13 shots pace the Raider offensive attack.
UT Martin is 3-1-1 on the young season and winners of its last two matches, on Thursday against North Alabama and back on August 29 at Indiana State. Four total UT Martin players have two goals each to account for the Skyhawks' eight total tallies on the season to date. UT Martin finished the spring with a 6-4-1 overall record, with a 6-3-1 mark in the OVC.
The Skyhawks and Raiders last met in 2019, with the two teams fighting through 110 minutes of action to a 2-2 draw.
Following Sunday's match, the Raiders return home to Alumni Field on September 9 when they host Butler.
