DAYTON – The Wright State men's soccer team hosts Marshall on Wednesday night as the Raiders play their final non-conference contest of the season at Alumni Field. First kick is set for 7 p.m.

LAST TIME OUT
Wright State fell 2-0 at Western Michigan in non-conference action last Saturday as the hosts scored two goals in the opening 10 minute. Reece Allbaugh finished with a match-leading four shots to pace Wright State, putting a pair of attempts on frame, finishing as the only Raider with multiple shot attempts as Wright State recorded 10 total shots. Raider keeper Guilherme Pipolo finished with five saves.

Marshall is 8-2-3 overall entering Wednesday's match, but only 2-1-3 away from home. The Thundering Herd has seen two Horizon League opponents this season, defeating Cleveland State 3-1 on the road and grabbing a 3-1 home victory over Robert Morris. Marshall finished 2021 with an 11-4-3 record and a 5-1-2 mark in CUSA play, eventually falling at home to Providence in the opening round of the NCAA Tournament last November.

Cleveland State enters Wednesday two points ahead of the Raiders in the standings but Detroit Mercy remains in striking distance in third place just two points back as teams jockey to get the first round bye in the HL tournament.
