Baseball Inks 10 to 2023 Signing Class

DAYTON — The Wright State baseball program bolstered its 2023-24 roster on Monday, with ten high school players signing their National Letters of Intent to play for the Raiders.
The newest members of the Raidergang, all incoming freshmen, are Jaron Elkins, Cam Gilkerson, Michael Glaser, Kyle Kesel, Chet Lax, Nate Manley, Griffen Paige, JP Peltier, Brayden Schoetzow, and Hunter Warren.Â
"I'm really excited about this class of young men that will be joining our baseball program," head coach Alex Sogard said. "They are such a great fit and will have an immediate impact in our program, both on and off the field."
Six of the signees have played high school baseball in Ohio, including three from Greater Columbus and two from Greater Cincinnati. A pair of future Raiders in Jaron Elkins and Chet Lax will arrive at Wright State from Tennessee.Â
"I look forward to getting them on campus next fall," Sogard added. "I also look forward to seeing their growth as young men in our program. This 2023 group will win many games and championships together in a Raider uniform."
