DAYTON — The Wright State track and field program will split and compete at two different meets this weekend. A trio of distance runners will race at the Jesse Owens Classic in Columbus, Ohio, from April 22-23. The remainder of the team will compete at the Otterbein Twilight in Westerville, Ohio, on April 22.

Ohio State will host the two-day meet at Jesse Owens Memorial Stadium. On Friday (April 22),
Alicia Neumeier will race in the 1,500-meter run at 5 p.m., followed by
Emma Shigley and
Abigail Halsey taking part in the 5,000-meter run at 6:40 p.m. Neumeier will return to the track on Saturday at 1:45 p.m. for the 800-meter run, while Halsey will compete in the 3,000-meter steeplechase at 3:10 p.m.
Otterbein Twilight — April 22 — Heat Sheets — Live Results
Women's competition at McVay Track at Memorial Stadium will begin at 2 p.m. with the javelin and shot put. The 100-meter hurdles prelims at 4 p.m. will kickstart running events.
Team's joining WSU in Westerville include meet host Otterbein, Cedarville, Malone, Ohio Wesleyan, and Wheeling Jesuit.

The Raiders are coming off a sixth-place finish with 43 points at the Cherry Blossom Invitational.

Bekah Robertson had WSU's top finish of the day in running events, as she collected a runner-up mark in the 100-meter hurdles with a time of 15.91. The West Chester, Ohio native also had an outdoor personal-best clearance of 1.50 meters in the high jump.

Melissa Siler climbed to sixth in the Raider top-10 high jump list with an outdoor personal-best clearance of 1.55 meters and added PR marks in the 100-meter hurdles (17.71m), long jump (5.10m), and 800-meter run (2:44.43). In the shot put, she placed eighth overall with a toss of 9.52 meters.

Cierra Lively tied for second in the high jump with a clearance of 1.55 meters.

Tatiana Brown tied for the 13th (1.45m) in the event.

Abigail Halsey's impressive outdoor season continued as she earned fifth out of 17 competitors in the 3,000-meter run at 10:20.12.
Emma Johnson was 12th overall (11:09.75), while
Nataly Dunes Diaz took 15th (11:28.61).

Alicia Neumeier headlined Wright State in the 800-meter run by placing fifth with a season-best mark of 2:15.98.
Emma Shigley finished 18th (2:28.53) in the event, while Robertson was 20th overall (2:29.81).
>> Shigley led the Raiders in the 1,500-meter run, as she took 11th overall with a time of 4:47.01.
Anna Johnson and
Brooklyn Salyers finished with times of 5:38.58 and 5:52.41, respectively.
>> In the 400-meter dash,
Alycea Ruhlen crossed the finish line at 1:03.81, good for 14th overall.
Emma Carr finished 18th in the race at 1:07.74. Ruhlen went on to earn 18th in the 200-meter dash (29.60), followed by Carr in 19th (30.52) and
Kira Ball in 21st (32.84).
