LAST TIME OUT
Wright State used a pair of second half goals to begin Horizon League play with a 2-2 draw against IUPUI on Saturday afternoon. Scoreless at the break, IUPUI lead by two before Raider goals from Conner Osterholt (58th minute) and a tying tally off a PK from Joe Kouadio in the 70th minute.
SCOUTING THE DUKES
Duquesne is off to its first 5-0 start in program history and is 3-0 on the road, having allowed just one goal in its first five games. Duquesne went 10-7-2 last season with a 3-3-2 mark in A10 play, falling in the A10 Championship game to end its season.
HISTORY VS. DUQUESNE
Tuesday will be the fifth all-time meeting between the teams, all coming since 2014, after last year's match in Pittsburgh. The Raiders lead the series 4-1-1.
HOME SWEET HOME
Wright State is in the middle of a stretch with three of the next four contests at home on Alumni Field. The familiar pitch is a beautiful site after the Raiders opened the year with a season-long four-game road stretch, its longest since having four straight road games in 2018. The Raiders played a total of 6 consecutive games away from home to end the 2019 season, ending the regular season on the road at IUPUI before three Horizon League Tournament contests and two games in the NCAA Tournament.
NEXT UP
Following Tuesday's match, Wright State travels to Green Bay for a Saturday afternoon matchup before the Raiders return back to Alumni Field to host Northern Kentucky on September 24.
