BOWLING GREEN, Ohio — The Wright State cross country teams competed at the Falcon Invitational on Friday at the Mel Brodt XC Course.
The women's team took seventh out of nine programs, while the Raider men finished eighth overall.
Kaitlyn Miller headlined WSU in the women's 6,000-meter race, as she placed 11th out of 117 runners with a time of 21:59.93.
Alicia Neumeier (23rd, 22:19.53) and
Emma Johnson (35th, 22:37.99) raced to top-40 marks for the Raiders.
Anna Johnson (82nd, 24:38.14) and
Reece Barnitz (85th, 24:44.44) rounded out Wright State's top-five finishers.
Alycea Lemmon (88th, 24:57.29), Sydney Thompson (92nd, 25:10.92),
Kayla Compton (93rd, 25:13.42),
Cecilia Alexander (98th, 25:40.28),
Elle Lambert (106th, 26:24.87),
Carly Biederman (112th, 27:52.05), and
Mia Wyngarden (113th, 28:05.57) also competed on the women's side.
Alex McCarty led the Raiders in the men's 8,000-meter run with a 10th-place finish (25:15.13).
Noah Sharp raced to 20th out of 100 competitors at 25:42.27.
The Raider duo was followed by

Wright State will host its next two meets at Fairborn Community Park, starting with Wild Bill Invite on October 20 and the Horizon League Championship on October 28.
