Raider Bowlers set for pair of tournaments this weekend

DAYTON – The Wright State bowling team will be in action twice this weekend, first at the Ohio Bowling Conference Event 2 on Saturday before action in the Orange & Black Classic on Sunday. Saturday's action will be at Columbus Square Bowling Palace in Columbus, while the Raiders won't to travel far Sunday, with action taking place at Poelking Lanes South in Dayton.

Saturday the Raiders will be represented by Natalie Hanson, Emma Hatfield, Rylie Jeanneret, Anna Johns, Paige Patterson, Mia Sayles, Jasmine Schulze and Alli Shattuck. Wright State had a strong showing in the Ohio Bowling Conference's Event 1 back on October 7, with the Raiders taking home first and second place team finishes in the event.

On Sunday, the Raiders will feature two squads at the event, with the 'Green' team consisting of Alex Drsek, Makenzie Gossett, Natalie Hanson, Rylie Jeanneret, Mia Sayles, Jasmine Schulze and Kennedy Moore. The 'Gold' group will feature Alli Shattuck, Alina Stebbins, Abigail Derham, Emma Hatfield, Anna Johns and Paige Patterson.

Competing teams in the Ohio Bowling Conference include Akron, Baldwin Wallace, Kent State, Muskingum, Mount Vernon Nazarene, Northern Kentucky, Ohio Northern, Ohio State, Rio Grande, Robert Morris, Shawnee State, Tiffin, UNOH, Ursuline, Walsh, Wittenberg and Youngstown State along with the Raiders.

Sunday's competing teams include tournament host Pikeville, Notre Dame College, Lindsey Wilson College, Midway College, Lourdes, Southern Illinois College, Tiffin and Union along with the Raiders.
