Raider Bowlers ready for action at Valpo Bowling Classic

DAYTON – The Wright State bowling team returns to the lanes this weekend at the Valpo Bowling Classic at Stardust Bowl III in Dyer, Indiana. The three-day tournament begins Friday morning and runs through Sunday.

Friday's action will begin at 10:07 a.m. and will consist of five sets of five-game baker matches. Saturday's five traditional team games will kick off at 9 a.m. On Sunday, the tournament concludes with three best-of-seven baker matches in bracket play, beginning at 8:42 a.m.

The Raiders will be represented by Abby Derham, Alex Drsek, Makenzie Gossett, Natalie Hanson, Mia Sayles, Jasmine Schulze, Alli Shattuck and Alina Stebbins.

The tournament field features Aurora, Baldwin-Wallace, Carroll, Dominican, Elmhurst, Kentucky Wesleyan, (RV) Lewis, No. 21 Lincoln Memorial, Marian, No. 9 Maryville, No. 14 McKendree, No. 13 Newman, North Central, (RV) Oklahoma Christian, No. 20 UW-Whitewater and host Valpo in addition to Wright State.
