Raider Bowlers add three more wins in Saturday action

DYER, IN – The Wright State bowling team collected three more wins on Saturday over five traditional matches at the Valpo Bowling Classic.

Sunday's three final matches will be best-of-seven Baker matches.

The Raiders went 3-2 overall Saturday in their traditional games, defeating (RV) Lewis (927-910) to open the day before falling to No. 20 Wisconsin-Whitewater (887-871). Wright State bounced back with a victory over Aurora (815-765), then fell to Marian (791-773) before ending the day on a high note with a win over Carroll (971-813).

Wright State finished day two with a pinfall of 4,357 and have a two-day pinfall total of 8,881 with a 177.6 average game score. Alex Drsek led the Raiders with a 180.80 average and a 904 pinfall over all five games, followed by Mia Sayles' 170.00 average across four games and Jasmine Schulze's three-game average of 189.33.

Sunday's action will get underway at 8:45 a.m. at Stardust Bowl III.
