Bowling wraps up weekend at Valpo Bowling Classic

DYER, IN – The Wright State bowling team wrapped up action at the Valpo Bowling Classic on Sunday, ending the weekend with a 7-6 record to finish 10th in the 17-team field.

The Raiders dropped their three contests on Sunday in best-of-seven baker matches in bracket play, falling to host Valpo in the opener in seven games before dropping their second match to Kentucky Wesleyan in four games. Wright State dropped another seven-game match to close the weekend, falling to Aurora.

Next up for Wright State will be hosting duties at the Raider Classic on November 11 and 12. The Raiders will host tournament action at Poelking Woodman Lanes in Kettering. Action will get underway Saturday afternoon and run the length of the day before picking up again Sunday morning.
