Bowling heads to USBC Sectionals this weekend

DAYTON - The Wright State bowling team is back in action this weekend as the Raiders head to Tennessee for the USBC Sectionals on Saturday and Sunday at Smyrna Bowling Center in Smyrna, Tennessee.

The sectional qualifiers will be held across four locations this weekend, with the top four teams in each division advancing from their sectional and to Las Vegas for the 2023 USBC Intercollegiate Team Championships April 19-22.

Teams will bowl 64 Baker games over two days to determine the four advancers from each location.

Joining Wright State in metro Nashville for competition will be Baker, Campbellsville, Emmanuel, Maryland Eastern Shore, McKendree, Midway, Milligan, Mount St. Mary's, Muskingum, Savannah College of Art and Design-Atlanta, St. Ambrose, St. Francis-Illinois, Tennessee Southern, Union, University of the Cumberlands and Walsh.

Adeline Buckenroth, Alex Drsek, Makenzie Gossett, Anna Johns, Kennedy Moore, Paige Patterson, Zoe Paxhia-Poppaw and Alina Stebbins will represent the Raiders in action this weekend.
