Bowling heads back to Nashville for weekend action

DAYTON - The Wright State bowling team closes its inaugural NCAA season this weekend with three days of action at the Columbia 300 Music City Classic. Action gets underway at 10:30 a.m. ET on Friday and Saturday before a 10 a.m. ET start on Sunday.

The tournament will follow the standard NCAA format with five, 5-game Baker sets on Friday; five traditional team games on Saturday and one traditional game followed by a two-round best-of-seven Baker bracket scheduled for Sunday. This year's field features many of the nation's top teams, including 14 ranked among the top 25 in the latest NTCA poll. Here is the field (indicates rank): Alabama A & M, Arkansas State (4), Aurora, Belmont Abbey, Carthage, Central Missouri (17), Emmanuel, Kentucky Wesleyan, Louisiana Tech (12), Lewis, Lincoln Memorial (19), Long Island University, Marian, Maryville (8), McKendree (1), Monmouth, North Carolina A&T (7), Sacred Heart (25), Saint Francis (Pa), Sam Houston (9), Spaulding, Stephen F.
