Two Raider teams hit the road for action this week, as Baseball plays four road contests and Track & Field is in action on Saturday. Check out the week ahead!

Baseball
The Wright State baseball team went 2-2 last week with a series victory against Northern Kentucky on the road. The Raiders won their opening two games at NKU by final scores of 6-2 and 3-1 but fell 9-5 in the series finale. Starting pitchers Jake Shirk and Sebastian Gongora stood out over the weekend as the pair collected winning decisions on the mound. Â WSU returns to action on Tuesday against Cincinnati in the first round of the Joe Nuxhall Classic. The neutral contest will take place at Hayden Park in Oxford, Ohio. The Raiders will then embark on a three-game series at Milwaukee from April 6-8. All three conference games will broadcast live on ESPN+.

Golf
The Wright State golf team is coming off a second-place team finish at the Seahawk Intercollegiate last week as three individuals finished inside the top 10. The Raiders are now off until hosting the Wright State Invitational April 16 and 17 at Heatherwoode Golf Club before the Horizon League Championship the following week in Florida.

Track & Field
The men's and women's track and field program return following a week off to compete at the Golden Grizzly Invitational on Saturday, April 8, in Rochester, Michigan. The meet is set for a noon start at Oakland University's Elaine Leigh Track & Field Complex.Â
