Raiders open home slate Wedneday night inside Nutter Center

DAYTON - The Wright State men's basketball team tips off regular season action at home inside the Nutter Center for the first time on Wednesday night, as the Raiders welcome Ohio Christian to town for their 2024-25 regular season home opener. Tipoff is set for 7 p.m., and fans can follow the action several ways - watching on ESPN+, via live stats or by tuning in to the home for Raider Basketball 101.5 HANK FM and WING 1410 AM. Chris Collins and Jim Brown will have all the play-by-play on the radio television feeds.
Fans can tune into 101.5 HANK FM live over the air in the Dayton metro area, as well stream the station live nationwide through a variety of free streaming apps. The iHeartRadio app, the TuneIn Radio app and the Audacy app are all FREE and each carry 101.5 HANK FM. Just search "101.5 HANK FM" on any of the three apps for Raider Basketball.Â

Wright State opened the 2024-25 season on Monday night at No. 23 Kentucky, with Brandon Noel and Alex Huibregtse each finishing with double figure scoring nights in the 103-62 final. Noel finished the night with 20 points and Huibregtse notched 16 points of his own. Solomon Callaghan turned in 15 points in his collegiate debut, one of four Raiders to see their first action in the Green and Gold, with Ayden Davis, Jack Doumbia and Michael Imariagbe logging their first Wright State minutes. Noel added eight rebounds to his 20 points, with Andrew Welage grabbing four rebounds as Ayden Davis and Huibregtse each pulled down three boards and eight other Raiders also tallied at least one rebound.

Brandon Noel's 20 points in the season opener at Kentucky gave him his 12th straight contest with double figures scoring dating back to last season, a stretch that extends farther to 10-plus points in 14 of his last 15 games overall, while he collected 20-plus points for 14th time in his career. Alex Huibregtse ended the opener with 16 points to notch his 10th straight double digit scoring game since last season.

Wright State saw four players tally their first collegiate action on Nov. 4 at Kentucky - Solomon Callaghan turned in 15 points in 18 minutes, Michael Imariagbe got the start and logged 12 minutes with two rebounds and a point at the free throw line, Ayden Davis saw 13 minutes of court time with three rebounds and Jack Doumbia turned in 11 minutes while grabbing two rebounds.Â
