Bowlers grab three wins in Saturday action

Lockport, IL -Â The Wright State bowling team collected three wins on Saturday over five traditional matches at the Storm Flyer Classic and is seventh in the 20-team field heading into Sunday action.

Saturday's action will feature three best of seven match play games beginning at 8:25 a.m. at Strike & Spare II in suburban Chicago.

The Raiders went 3-2 overall Saturday in their traditional games, defeating Alabama A&M (975-848), Sacred Heart (996-926) and Carroll (907-900) while falling to Tulane (934-882) and Valparaiso (993-905) in a pair of tight matches. Jasmine Schulze led the Raiders with a 201.20 average and a 1,006 pinfall total, the eighth-best individual average.

Wright State finished day two with a pinfall of 4,665 and have a two-day pinfall total of 9,236 with a 184.7 average game score. Jasmine Schulze led the Raiders with a 201.20 average and a 1,006 pinfall total, the eighth-best individual average.
