Three-day weekend awaits Raider Bowlers

DAYTON – The Wright State bowling team returns to the lanes this weekend with three days of action at the Storm Flyer Classic at Strike & Spare II in Lockport, Illinois in suburban Chicago.

Action begins at 10 a.m. on Friday before a 9:25 a.m. start on Saturday. Action wraps up Sunday beginning at 8:25 a.m. Friday action will feature five Baker matches with five traditional matches on Saturday and Sunday will feature three best of seven match play games.

The Raiders will be represented by Alex Drsek, Makenzie Gossett, Emma Hatfield, Rylie Jeanneret, Mia Sayles, Jasmine Schulze, Allison Shattuck and Alina Stebbins.

Other teams in action this weekend include: Alabama A&M, UAB, Augustana (IL), Aurora, Carroll, Carthage, Dominican (IL), Elmhurst, Lewis, Marian (WI), Maryville, McKendree, Nebraska, Newman, Sacred Heart, Sam Houston, Tulane, Valparaiso and Wisconsin-Whitewater.

Wright State is coming off a 5-8 weekend at the Columbia 300 Saints Invite last week. After this weekend's action, the Raiders are back in competition closer to home in the Ohio Bowling Conference's Event 5 on February 17.
