Lockport, IL - The Wright State bowling team opened play at the Storm Flyer Classic on Friday, going 2-3 in the first day of action to sit in 10th in the 20-team field.

Saturday's action will feature five traditional matches beginning at 9:25 a.m. at Strike & Spare II in suburban Chicago.

Teams bowled five head-to-head Baker matches on Friday, with the Raiders grabbing wins over Elmhurst (945-834) and Wisconsin-Whitewater (933-899) while falling by one pin to Marian (WI) (923-922) and also dropping matches to UAB (888-861) and Nebraska (991-910).

The Raiders finished with a 4,464 total pinfall on Friday with a 178.6 average game score.

Saturday's traditional matches will see Wright State square off against Alabama A&M, Tulane, Sacred Heart, Carroll and Valparaiso.
