Women's Basketball ready for Saturday matchup

DAYTON — The Wright State women's basketball team returns to the Nutter Center on Saturday afternoon as the Raiders welcome Purdue Fort Wayne to town. Saturday's game is set for a 4 p.m. tipoff and fans can keep up with the action by watching on ESPN+ or following live stats.

LAST TIME OUT
Wright State made an early second half charge on Wednesday night, but host Cleveland State always had an answer as the Raiders fell 71-59 on the road. Layne Ferrell finished with a game-high 17 points behind five three-pointers, adding four rebounds, four assists, three blocks and a steal to her loaded stat line, while Alexis Hutchison chipped in 10 points of her own but had just two points after the first five minutes of the contest. Lauren Scott added nine points and three Raiders – Kacee Baumhower, Claire Henson and Rachel Loobie – all had six points, with Loobie pulling down a team-leading six rebounds.
