Raiders head south for weekend action

DAYTON – The Wright State bowling team returns to the lanes this weekend with three days of action at the Columbia 300 Music City Classic in the Nashville area.

Action begins Friday with play beginning at 9:45 a.m., while Saturday's competition starts at 9:30 a.m. and Sunday's begins at 9 a.m. at the at the Smyrna Bowling Center.
The Raiders will be represented by Alex Drsek, Makenzie Gossett, Emma Hatfield, Rylie Jeanneret, Paige Patterson, Mia Sayles, Jasmine Schulze, Allison Shattuck and Alina Stebbins in the event.

The tournament will follow the standard NCAA format with five, five-game Baker sets on Friday, five traditional team games on Saturday and three best-of-seven Baker bracket matches on Sunday.

The field features many of the nation's top teams, including 17 ranked among the top 25 in the March National Tenpin Coaches Association poll.
