Bowlers grab three wins on Saturday

Smyrna, TNÂ -Â The Wright State bowling team collected three wins on Saturday over five traditional matches at the Columbia 300 Music City Classic on Saturday to sit in 22nd in the 33-team field.

Saturday's action will feature three best-of-seven Baker bracket matches beginning at 9 a.m. at the at the Smyrna Bowling Center.
The Raiders went 3-2 on Saturday in their traditional games, defeating Carthage College (923-830), Belmont Abbey (925-793) and Howard (854-816) while falling to No. 17 Valparaiso (867-828) and Lewis (1,022-958) in a pair of tight matches. Jasmine Schulze led the Raiders with a 200.60 average and a 1,003 pinfall total.
Wright State finished day two with a pinfall of 4,488 and have a two-day pinfall total of 8,749 with a 184.7 average game score. Jasmine Schulze led the Raiders with a 201.20 average and a 1,006 pinfall total, the eighth-best individual average.
