Raider Golf sixth after opening round at Peoples Golf Championship

ST. SIMONS ISLAND, GA – The Wright State men's golf team is in sixth after Thursday's first round at the Peoples Golf Championship, presented by Sea Palms Resort, while Shane Ochs is the individual leader after 18 holes.

Ochs fired a six-under opening round 65 to pace the field. Adam Horn and Brock Rumpke, competing as an individual, are both one-over after rounds of 72, while Mikkel Mathiesen carded a round of 73 and is two-over heading into Friday's second round. Andrew Flynn shot a three-over 74 and Timmy Hollenbeck, also competing as an individual, is four-over after his 75. Kye Fisher shot an opening round 78 and is seven-over after 18 holes.

Wright State and the rest of the tournament field will play 18 holes as part of their second rounds on Friday before a final round of 18 holes on Saturday in the three-day tournament.
